Options and Add-ons

Our flat panels allow for an 8×8 ft bump out on one or more of the walls.  This creates a convenient space as a bathroom, sleeping area, or hallway to another yurt/structure. 

Add extra or change the size of windows and doors.  Each wall panel can be either a window or a door up to 80 inches wide by 80 inches tall.  

Our standard kit has 1 inch of foam built in with space for up to 6 more inches of the insulation of your choice.  We can provide the insulation or you can purchase and install it locally to you.

We can add up to 3 layers of reflective insulation under the cloth.  While this doesn’t have an R value, each layer is roughly equivalent to R6. White facing on the interior provides a clean and more finished look.

Our base models have a 40lb per sq ft snow load, however it is easy for us to increase the snow load as needed.  We have worked with locations up to 80lb per sq ft snow load requirements.
