Our hard-sided cabin yurts are a unique twist on traditional yurts. Hard walls and roof give the strength and longevity of a traditional house while maintaining the unique shape and versatility.
Sizes and Pricing
During the purchase process we want to provide accurate estimates of total costs for your project so you can budget and get the right product and services for you. We have broken it out into various levels:
Kit Price
This is the bare minimum you would purchase from us. It is the frame, brackets and hardware, wall and roof panels, doors, windows, and steel roofing.
- Timber frame, brackets and hardware
- Wall and roof panels with R6 foam insulation built in and 2×6 framing to allow for additional insulation as needed
- 40lb snow load standard on our kits, additional snow load possible if needed
- Metal roofing
- 4 slider windows 3ft tall by 4ft wide
- 1 door 36in wide by 80 tall with 3/4 glass
- Schematic and materials list for either a post and beam platform or slab on grade foundation
- Instructions for kit assembly
DIY Estimate
This is the Kit price + materials needed to take the kit from a dried-in shell to a finished off grid structure.
- Platform materials for a post and beam structure to build the kit on. Sono tube foundations, wooden posts for a platform up to 16ft off the ground.
- Exterior siding. LP SmartSide lap, low maintenance siding. Various color options are available.
- R19 fiberglass batt insulation in walls and roof in addition to the built in Foam insulation, creating a total of R25 throughout.
- Interior finish. Drywall on the ceiling and Pine tongue and groove on the walls. Other configurations available.
- LVP flooring with a 22mil wear layer. Many color and style options are available.
Installation estimate
This is Kit Price + DIY Materials + plus installation labor. This is an estimate for us to come out and do the installation of the platform, kit, and parts included in the DIY Estimate. It should also give you a ball park if you are looking to hire local contractors.
Turnkey installation
This Kit Price + DIY Materials + installation labor + your desired amenities and labor to install them. Because of the versatility of the structure this estimate will vary widely based on what amenities you want in the structure and local costs and requirements. Once we identify what you are looking for in the structure, we can provide an estimate of the materials and installation costs if we build it or you hire a local contractor.

Sturdy Timber Frame

Our structural members are a combination of 4×6 pine and 4 by LVL engineered rafters, pre-cut, drilled and include all the hardware and instruction to assemble it yourself!
Engineered

Our custom steel brackets are engineered to ensure durable connections and easy installation. The design also allows for resizing structural members to match your required snow load.
Modular

Every one of our products is designed to be easily customizable with easy add-ons such as bump-outs, lofts, and tree enclosures. Each wall panel is individual and can be placed in any of the wall openings during your installation.
Customizable

There are many add-ons and customizations to make your yurt your own. Insulation levels, Larger windows and doors (up to 80×80 inch windows or doors), Siding types, Roofing color and exterior decks,
